Reach for the stars this summer as HCPS & the National Defense Education Program hosts one week long STEM Rocket Camps focusing on rocketry, aerospace concepts, and hands-on science for incoming 6th-8th grade public school students.
The camp locations are listed below. Camps run for one week from 9:00 am – 1:30 pm. Camps are Monday through Thursday (school sites are closed on Fridays) with the exception of the week of July 3rd – 7th which will run Monday and Wednesday – Friday due to the July 4th holiday.
Camps will include all necessary materials as well as district-provided breakfast and lunch. Funded through a grant from the National Defense Education Program, all camps listed below are presented at no cost to HCPS public school students.
Students should be dropped off and picked up at camp locations by a parent or guardian. Drop off should occur no earlier than 9 am and picked up no later than 1:30 pm.
