Parent University is a FREE informational event supporting the academic life of children in kindergarten through 12th grade. Sessions focus on academic and support programs in Hillsborough County Public Schools, effective strategies families can use to help every child succeed, and ways to advocate for the resources necessary for our public schools. In addition, representatives from Hillsborough County Public Schools’ magnet and choice programs will be available with information about their schools.
Participants will attend a general session featuring information about fine arts in Hillsborough County Public Schools followed by two classes (click to see examples) of their choice. Attendees end the day with a catered lunch. Free childcare is provided for children in grades K-5 only (advance reservations are REQUIRED). *Please note- workshops for middle school students will not be available at this event.
