Hillsborough students entering 6th-8th grades will participate in exciting hands-on builds, design challenges, and creative activities including blasting water rockets into space! Learn about aerospace dynamics and basics of flight all while having fun in this interactive camp.
Camp locations and dates are listed in the chart below. All camps will run 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday (all school sites are closed in Fridays).
Camps will include all necessary materials as well as district provided breakfast and lunch. Funded through a grant from the National Defense Education Program, all camps listed below are presented at no cost to students.
PLEASE NOTE: You may only sign up for one camp per child. Multiple weeks are not permitted.
Students may be dropped off and picked up at camp locations by a parent or guardian. Drop off should occur no earlier than 9am and picked up no later than 2pm.
Students may also utilize district summer transportation. Transportation will only be provided from a limited amount of district approved stops. If students will need to ride the bus, it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure students are dropped off and picked up from the district established stops. The specific stops and routes will be determined at the end of May and communicated to enrolled students and their families prior to camp. The summer transportation stops may not be the same stops used during the regular school year.
