Policies that impact students, teachers and their public schools are decided by politicians with little to no education expertise or experience. It is up to us, education advocates, to speak up for policies that make sense. Children need your voices. Let politicians know that public education and student success are priorities for you.
Parents, teachers, students and community members collaborated to create our Community Legislative Priorities. These priorities were identified over the past three years of listening to the communities we serve. These important public education issues emerged through Community Conversations, virtual surveys, Parent Universities, Student Alliance for Public Schools meetings, Ed Chats and community partner events.
Together, we can advocate for important policies and make student success a priority in Florida.
